Last month, the grand opening of Universal’s Epic Universe in Orlando, Florida marked a groundbreaking moment in the world of themed entertainment. As thousands of guests step into the park’s imaginative realms, RCI is proud to have contributed to the vision—specifically through our work on Celestial Park.
Celestial Park serves as the heart of Epic Universe, welcoming visitors with wide-open green scapes, carefully orchestrated sightlines, and immersive natural design. RCI was responsible for delivering complete landscape and irrigation construction throughout this iconic entry land.
Laying the Groundwork for Immersion
Our team executed every phase of the landscape build—from precision grading and soil preparation to plant installation and hardscape coordination. This included:
Turf establishment and sod placement
Installation of ornamental trees and native plantings
Mulching, fine grading, and finishing work across expansive plaza areas
Each element was selected and placed to support the visual language and visitor flow of Celestial Park, creating a lush, inviting space that feels both grand and intimate.
Irrigation That Supports Growth and Sustainability
RCI also installed a comprehensive irrigation system designed to keep Celestial Park thriving in Florida’s climate. This scope included:
- PVC and brass infrastructure for high durability
- Remote-control valve systems and controller tie-ins
- Integration with potable water sources and flow regulation
- Rigorous testing, zoning, and final commissioning
The result? A sustainable, low-maintenance system that supports the health and longevity of the park’s landscape.

Celestial Park is more than a beautiful green space—it’s a narrative experience. Every planting bed, tree grove, and open lawn plays a part in setting the tone for what lies ahead in Epic Universe.
